Hear@PlaySM is virtual listening and spoken language sessions for children from birth to five that combine direct service with family coaching, support and education based on the individual needs of each family and their child.
Children learn through play. Play IS their work. Play is the way children learn about the world and how to interact with others physically, mentally and emotionally. The ability to communicate effectively verbally becomes increasingly more important with each stage of a child’s development.
At Hear@Play, we determine where your child is developmentally in the hierarchy of play skills and in the communication that supports each stage. We work together to establish communication targets and design play-based activities to meet those targets. Each session incorporates Planning, Parent Feedback, Activities, Observation, Coaching, Auditory-Verbal Strategies and Next Steps.
